I'm Paul Gregory (a.k.a Monki), a 25yr old web developer based in Manchester, UK. I work full-time for the lovely people at Access, and we spend a lot of time creating websites in Drupal. I don't do many things outside of work but I do try to get out with my camera from time to time.

Manchester Pride Parade 2010

On Saturday I went in to Manchester city centre with some friends to watch the Pride Parade, part of the Manchester Pride weekend. This was sure to be a colourful and photogenic event so of course I took my camera. Even with the odd rain shower it was still plenty of fun.

Unfortunately we didn't get a brilliant spot (a small run-in with a pissed-up street urchin and her dog delayed us), so many of my pictures had heads in them from the crowds in front. If I go next year I'll be sure to go early and get a front-row position. View my parade pictures on Flickr
